Since my last wedding fair on the 29th Janaury things have got pretty busy. In the space of one week I've taken four bookings for weddings this year.
I have also taken a booking for a funeral. This is something that I've never filmed before and I feel very honoured to do. Less than two weeks ago a very brave man called Scott lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind a wife, a 14 year old daughter and a four year old son. It is for the sake of his young son that I've been asked to film the day. He is so small and has no real understanding of what is happening, but his very wise mother is taking steps to make sure that, when old enough, he can watch for himself exactly what happens at his daddy's funeral. Also within the day, I am creating a diary room, where all of Scott's family and friends can leave messages of their fondest memories of Scott for the rest of the family to watch.
I feel very proud that I can do this filming for Scott's family and I hope that the film is exactly what Scott would have wanted his family to have. I send all many love and best wishes for the funeral xxx.
